Neil Davies (at the University of Cape Town, South Africa) and I found out today that we have been successful in winning a Newton travel grant, which will allow Dan and Nick to travel to Cape Town later in the year to develop novel biomaterials for wound healing. The travel award will support some pilot work between our groups and a series of meetings to build new collaborations between our universities.
